Jocelyne Deschamps



Even as a little kid growing up on a produce
farm outside Aix-en-Provence Jocelyne
Deschamps loved to mix things up. By the
age of seven she was working Saturdays in
the local farmer’s market, giving shoppers
tips on which foods combine best, already
understanding that the colors should mingle
as delightfully as the tastes. After graduating
from the world renowned Institute
Gastronomique Mediteranienne in Nice she
worked her way around the world, cooking
in Florence, Bangkok, Hanoi, Sydney, Maui
and Las Vegas before finally settling in
Brooklyn at the very popular Snapping Pea
where she has created a highly acclaimed
menu of innovative salads.
