Dan Pariser

Dan has always loved food. He was first introduced to the mysteries of cooking by his mother and grandmother, more as a consumer than a producer. When he got to college, though, he found that he had to learn to cook for himself if he did not want to subsist on the dining hall fare. With limited resources he learned to make savory meals out of the cheapest cuts of meats and produce. As a poverty-stricken law student he refined his techniques, learning new cuisines from cookbooks bought in second-hand stores. Many study sessions with classmates were fueled by his tasty and thrifty dinners. Now, after practicing law for 25 years, he has the means to indulge his passion, and is frequently called upon to provide delicious meals for family and friends. His gift is for teaching, and he is pleased and honored to be able to pass along some of the lessons that he has learned. |
